Hopeworks // Former Intern, Current Alum

Hopeworks

My time at Hopeworks is near and dear to my heart. I came to Hopeworks looking to develop my technical skills, but I left Hopeworks (even though you can never leave Hopeworks) with so much more. I started my journey with the nonprofit as a trainee, I enjoyed the self paced environment, and the accountability the staff (or family) has caused me to have as a professional.

During my time at Hopeworks, I represented the nonprofit at community kick starters, an annual golf event, lead a tour for former mayor of Philadelphia, Mayor Nutter. I also designed all print and digital designs for the nonprofit, and assisted the Director of Engagement & Communications in the rebrand of the organization with a Philadelphia agency.

Now as an alum, I have designed for the nonprofit as a contractor, and 65% of my current clients are Hopeworks referred. I plan to speak during an entrepreneurship class soon, seeing how much that class had an impact on my personal growth.
